A cheaty pic as it's one Colin took yesterday evening. It's of me laughing at John Sergeant on Strictly Come Dancing last night - in a nice way! He was so obviously having fun :-). Anyway, it's not the most flattering picture of me but it's natural.

The weather was wild at the farm today, but there were occasional glimpses of sunshine, like this fleeting patch up the hill.

'Hat's Scarf'

Miss M has taken to referring to her brother as 'Hat'. No idea why..

The weather has been too wet, windy and wild for any outdoor pictures (or outdoor activities for that matter), so a picture of Scarf Number Three, as commissioned by the Boy.

The only downside to the Scribbler is it's not permanent. Though it's probably saved a few forests given how much drawing he does..

It's the 25th today and I have some catching up to do. This is Miss M finishing off her birthday cake - which was, though I say so myself, deeeeelicious.

The Boy insisted we make a cake for M's birthday - this is it just coming out the oven. We'll ice it tomorrow and decorate it unsubtly with chocolate buttons and pink sprinkles!

I was down at the centre this morning and suddenly noticed this rather swooshily-shaped bit of ceiling. It's a bit sad to think that somebody put some effort into designing the place but hardly anybody ever notices. The only reason I noticed today was that the shops don't open 'til 11am on a Sunday and I was down there at about ten to, so was just sitting on a bench waiting and chilling out.

I've been feeling a bit rough for the last few days hence only photographing the Boy's pictures.. But it's also because he's been particularly prolific the last few days!

Uncle Hopalong's birthday

A frustrating day in photographic terms as, despite taking squillions of photos, there were few to choose from - they're all either too bright and glarey (with the flash) or too fuzzy (without the flash). Above is a nice one apart from the blur of the Boy walking in front of the camera in the foreground.

So earnest! Uncle Hopalong was helping the boy with his homework when they broke off to have a discussion about a photograph on the wall.

Moonrise in Teletubbyland

This was the view from the Boy's window last night (this is the 6th Oct. really; ssh don't tell my blog!) - a bit fuzzy but quite pretty! That's a windfarm on the hill.

It's not easy being green.

Today our tv gave up the ghost. C had been wanting a fancy telly for ages but couldn't justify it really - so he did have a look of suppressed delight when I told him the telly wasn't working properly and that Chris and Pui* had turned green. A quick google confirmed it probably wasn't worth getting repaired. Fortunately he had been saving his pennies for just such an occasion!

I was out at a friend's beauty night tonight (had a facial, it was brilliant), so C had the evening to play with the new telly. And watch Sharpe.
