I bought new kitchen scissors today, that came in the kind of plastic packaging that can only easily be opened by... scissors. Fortunately I have another pair.
It settled for being miserable after being variously snow, hail, sleet, icy rain and (apparently, though I didn't hear it) thunder. Oddly, it felt like November again apart from being much too light in the evening.
Another beautiful day today so obviously I have no pictures of Outside, just 12 pictures of my cat sitting in a small box, 'cos that's what the Intartubes runs on. You're welcome.
The daffodils are in a vase on my kitchen window-sill - I was leaning across the sink to take pictures so some of them are a bit random in composition. I quite like the way that's worked out in this case!
Oddly the picture looks very green (to me at least) now that it's pasted in here. The original is much more daffodil-coloured.
The three pots on the left are ones that Miss M planted up at an event at the local library. The one on the left will be a Venus fly trap apparently. The one with the face will grow grass 'hair', and can you guess what the one with the cloud and castle will be? Yep, beanstalk!
Once upon a time my friend Bee told me about 'project 365' in which you take a photo a day for a year. I wasn't that disciplined about it and it took me one year and 3 months to reach Day 365, but it quickly became a habit of sorts and also a record of my year. So I've overrun but I continue with it anyway!
