Wahey!

The day we discovered that Miss Mouse has grown quite a bit since the last time the Boy's go-cart was out and now she can, just, reach the pedals.

Who will save us? Somene call..... EXERCISE GIRL!

Miss Mouse has invented a superhero - Exercise Girl, who wears a very retro red satin ribbon sweatband (naturally Exercise Girl, being a Superhero, would never actually break into a sweat so she can get away with satin ribbons when lesser mortals would need towelling).

Astronomy

I was so chuffed with this picture of the Boy's understanding of the solar system that I stuck it on Twitpic and tweeted Brian Cox who pronounced it 'wonderful!', making the Boy very happy.

My cat likes to sit in boxes

This is a box that I've been unable to put in the recycling bin because she likes it so much! I'm not sure it counts as 'reusing' does it?

Another walk - bit longer than we'd intended actually.

Walked her little legs off. Not.

to the duck-pond!

In one of those attempts to get the kids fresh-aired and worn out we went to the Heritage Loch to feed the birds. The loch is still largely frozen with just narrow bits of open water round the edges (which seems back to front to me). The birds as you can see are pretty well-fed - just as long as they like white bread!

There are masses of birds there.

The kids had a go on the swinging thing - very difficult to photograph actually! But believe me, happy smiles from them.

And the view as the sun (probably) set, just before we left.
