I'm kicking myself really - it was another glorious day, mellow fruitfulness a-plenty - but for some reason I didn't take any photos (actually because I've been battling my sinuses all week and just didn't feel like it). However thanks to Morag mum's homemade raspberry jam I have mellow-fruifulness-in-a-jar :-D.
I took the kids over to play with the Boy's friend. When we arrived he'd just found this gorgeous caterpillar. The kids had a great time making it a home and ensuring it was in the shade and so on.
I was over at my friend Allison's house - we sat in her garden drinking coffee and nattering and it was bliss. This is the tree behind her garden - I don't know what it is (tree recognition skills are far from l33t), but I like it.
From left to right: the Boy's penguin, the Boy, the Boy's Rabbit, Miss Mouse, Miss Mouse's Teddy. The diagram in the corner is apparently some kind of To Do list - I hadn't showered at this point, not sure what the other icons were, something to do with breakfast I think.
Miss Mouse had her friend E over - by chance they were wearing identical green tops with pink trousers. This is them singing along to the summer song on CBeebies.
Once upon a time my friend Bee told me about 'project 365' in which you take a photo a day for a year. I wasn't that disciplined about it and it took me one year and 3 months to reach Day 365, but it quickly became a habit of sorts and also a record of my year. So I've overrun but I continue with it anyway!
