Hue

I finished knitting Mum's scarf at long last! (Mum, it's on its way to you)

Out to lunch

We took Miss Mouse out for a pub lunch - she and Teddy had lots of fun!

A chip off the old block

Tractor!

The hat was one I made for myself but misread the pattern and it came out too small, so Miss Mouse has it now - I think she looks very cute in it!

Mock Croc

My pretend Crocs, besides being a disgusting shade of pink, are a great source of entertainment for my children. The rest of the room is overflowing with toys of equally garish hues, but no, madam wants to play with my shoes. There is a reason we refer to her as Imelda.

Like a Star Trek babe..

Soft-focus. Not that she needs it.

While we were out for a walk we met a very friendly cat who followed us around.

The gals

Just chillin' out.

Cherub

Miss Mouse dozed off in the car and didn't really wake up when I brought her in so I just let her snooze on my lap for a while, hence the slightly odd angle. She looks such a baby when she's asleep.

A rare creature

It's difficult to get fairly natural pictures of the Boy these days - he either runs away from the camera or does a Wallace & Gromit w-i-d-e grin. But apparently chocolate-chip cookies distract him sufficiently!

Spring *boing*

Well, maybe not spring, but getting there.

Aren't plants clever?

Monday, 16 February 2009

This is what I look like when I neeeed sleeeep

I was messing round with the sepia setting and showing the Boy how to take self-portraits. He took a couple of me too, but I'm not sure if this was one.

Red O'Hair

Me and my freshly-dyed hair. Though it does look a bit as if my hair has dyed the hedge behind me!

And a moody not-actually-black-and-white shot of the farm. I took one in black-and-white mode a moment later and it was virtually identical!

My boys

Slightly fuzzy, but a nice pic.

Friday, 13 February 2009

A logical mind

The Boy has drawn me a map to the school. Should I forget, presumably!

Thaw

A grey misty day as the weather warmed up a bit. This was a trickle on the windscreen as we collected the Boy from school.

Brrr

Another bright blue sky - compare with my very first 365 picture..

Monday, 9 February 2009

"Happy birthday Granny!"

Big smiles from your grandchildren!

No wonder my nose was cold

This is both the upside and the downside of my job!

Saturday, 7 February 2009

Um, splunge.

The moon above the retail park - classy eh?

Baltic-er

School car-park again - the ice-slush now overlaid by another (light) fall of snow. Even more fun :-D.

Wednesday, 4 February 2009

Don't be fooled!

See that slush from yesterday's thaw? Not slush. Temp was -5, the slush was frozen into ridges. Made for interesting driving - whee! :-D

Fortunately that was just the school car-park, the roads were clear.

Emerald City.

Actually the inside of an empty Grolsch bottle. Pretty, innit?

Monday, 2 February 2009

Oh the weather outside is frightful..

I have no car today as Monsieur Alky's automobile is playing up and he took mine. He gave me a lift this morning, I got the bus home then walked down from the bus-stop. It was all looking very pretty.

Coo

Mairi Mhor. Or the other one. Not sure, come to think of it. Isn't she gorgeous?

I showed this picture to Miss Mouse and she squealed, "Oooh! E'phant!". *sigh*
