The hat was one I made for myself but misread the pattern and it came out too small, so Miss Mouse has it now - I think she looks very cute in it!

Mock Croc

My pretend Crocs, besides being a disgusting shade of pink, are a great source of entertainment for my children. The rest of the room is overflowing with toys of equally garish hues, but no, madam wants to play with my shoes. There is a reason we refer to her as Imelda.

Miss Mouse dozed off in the car and didn't really wake up when I brought her in so I just let her snooze on my lap for a while, hence the slightly odd angle. She looks such a baby when she's asleep.

A rare creature

It's difficult to get fairly natural pictures of the Boy these days - he either runs away from the camera or does a Wallace & Gromit w-i-d-e grin. But apparently chocolate-chip cookies distract him sufficiently!

School car-park again - the ice-slush now overlaid by another (light) fall of snow. Even more fun :-D.

See that slush from yesterday's thaw? Not slush. Temp was -5, the slush was frozen into ridges. Made for interesting driving - whee! :-D

Fortunately that was just the school car-park, the roads were clear.

Oh the weather outside is frightful..

I have no car today as Monsieur Alky's automobile is playing up and he took mine. He gave me a lift this morning, I got the bus home then walked down from the bus-stop. It was all looking very pretty.
