Am watching QI which is on a theme of 'France' tonight, hence the Title. Anyway for lack of anything more exciting to photograph today, this is my hat. I've messed up the last row and will need to tink it.My Beloved cycled to the retail park today (six-ish miles) in the melting snow. Loony. I drove there to meet him, we did the shopping then both came back in the car. Good thing too as it was veering indecisively between sleet and hail by then ("Sleet or hail.. which is most unpleasant for the hoomins.."). Of course my car is covered in bike muck now, but at least he got some exercise.
..has trouble getting herself ready for the ball, let alone Cinderella!This is the first bit of Fair Isle I ever did - in about Primary 6, so when I was about ten. The tension was way too tight on the green bits, but it's a cute little bag and I use it to keep knitting bits and pieces in (stitch markers and the like).
