Two happys

Happy One: washing on the line for the first time this year.

Happy Two: gorgeous, luscious, delicious Yarn Yard yarn from the yarn party yesterday (which was Happy Three - lovely people, lovely yarn, lovely cake and a lovely dog and a lovely cat).

Poor confused cat

This is Hester, just back from the vet after her op. The cone bewildered her initially, but she figured out how to remove it pretty quickly. I think she has a secret opposable thumb stashed somewhere.

World Book Day

... is tomorrow. The Boy decided to go as the boy from Lost and Found - he has a stripy top and a toy penguin, and I discovered suitable colours in my wool stash that could be cobbled together into a hat (which actually I'm very pleased with, and the Boy loves it too).

Happiness

I love that yarn (alpaca cotton) and I love knitting in the sunshine.

And I love the colour of that chair of Miss Mouse's. Toby likes the chair too. And the Cat Ability to find and claim a Patch of Sunlight is demonstrated again.

Love the coffee (mmm, smell, taste), the mug (mmm, happy colour) and the spoon (mmm, wedding present - happy memories).

Happy cat enjoying the thaw. You know that great fresh smell you get when the snow melts and green things start making their presence felt? Must be even more heady (or nasal) an experience for a cat.
