I was happily tootling along when I was suddenly overtaken by Gin, Harry's dog, shortly followed by Harry in one of the Massey-Fergusons. I should probably point out that I had no passengers at the time - I don't normally take pictures while in motion!
I felt so guilty pegging him up like that! A little too much anthropomorphising in our house I think..
A friend of a friend recently told me that when he'd worked in a children's hospital/ward he'd seen the freshly-washed teddies, rabbits and assorted cuddlies hanging on the washing-line (generally by their ears!) and had thought it would make a great photograph but never had his camera with him at the right time - shame really, that'd make a brilliant picture!
Or maybe just Kittochside! I'm so pleased with this picture :-). I had to drop in to work briefly and as it was another gorgeous day (best yet?) I took the camera and walked up to the farm to get some sheep pics. This picture was taken just next to where I'd parked.
Hardy perennial by the looks of her! We spent a while in the garden - theoretically 'gardening' but Miss M has some interesting ideas about weeding - and I took quite a few more plant pics, but I thought it was about time to let the offspring back into the blog!
Yeah, daff again but I was so pleased with this, and I want to do a compare & contrast with the last daff pic.
It was quite windy and the daff was flapping around - with the old Kodak that would mean a very blurry shot but the Canon's got it crystal clear. Upload times are longer of course as the files are so much bigger, but overall I'm so pleased with my new bit of tech!
A bit of a smudge on the lens but never mind. The lens cover has got stuck on 'open' so I'm having to clean the lens a lot. I think this is what went wrong with my last camera too - not what finished it off, but the first thing to go wrong with it. Still, this one's taken a lot of abuse one way and another, so it's done pretty well, and still seems to be working fine.
I thought I should probably record my Mother's Day loot for posterity. The Boy was so excited about giving me my card (the one with the yellow flower) - it was very endearing! Miss Mouse made the other two - one at nursery and one at the gym creche.
Once upon a time my friend Bee told me about 'project 365' in which you take a photo a day for a year. I wasn't that disciplined about it and it took me one year and 3 months to reach Day 365, but it quickly became a habit of sorts and also a record of my year. So I've overrun but I continue with it anyway!
